2011 Football Calender

2011 Football Calendar
July 10th -17th BREAK! No practice.
July 18th-21 Youth Unpadded Camp
August 3rd Golf Tournament
August 8th (Full pads) Daily Practice (M,W,F -2 a day 6-8am & 6-8 pm, T,TH,- 6-8 am)
August 13th Thunder Jam-blue And White Game!
August 18th(TBD) Auction Dinner
August 19th First Game! Varsity Only.

WEIGHT CONDITIONING CLASS:
First Semester B1 is for 10th grade A1 is for 11th and 12th grade. Second Semester B1 9th graders A1 sophomores & juniors. (Seniors need to NOT take A1 in the second semester) 9th Graders in the FIRST semester are not required to be in the B1 class. 9th grade can take any weight class during the day, FIRST SEMESTER.

EQUIPMENT: will ONLY be issued only when your spirit pack & camp fee is paid along with your paperwork turned in to Sharon. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT & BRING TO SHARON WITH PAPERWORK. The financial office is open ONLY on Wednesday’s from 7-2. Any questions you can reach Sharon at 801-610-8815 Ext. 414

GRADES: Westlake High School Policy is you can have NO UNEARNED CREDIT from the previous school year. 2010-2011 you MUST have passed every class. You must make up any F’s, NC or I’s from the previous year to be eligible to represent WHS this coming fall. All Nc’s must be made up prior to August 1st. Please see your counselor for your SUMMER options.

Spirit Pack………………………185.00 (All items are kept-not returned) (Due June 15th, 2011)
Camp Fee……………………….175.00
(Open to 9th thru 12th grade-to attend camp your equipment requirement and fee’s must be paid) (Due June 28th, 2011)
10th -12th grade Participation fee………………..$60.00*(bussing & officials) (Due August 1, 2011)

9th Grade Fee……………………………………$100.00 (Entry fee, uniform, equipment use fee)
9th grade: PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO GET PLAYERS TO & FROM GAMES

PRINT RECIEPT AND BRING TO ATHLETIC OFFICE!

Please turn all your paperwork in to Sharon in the athletic office in C225, Please turn it in only when ALL of it is complete. At that time Sharon will then have the player sign a Equipment/gear check out form. Then when the receipts are turned in to Sharon showing the fee's paid that player will be cleared to be issued his gear and equipment. Any questions, please call Sharon at

FB contract-Sponsor and Player Signature on last page.
UHSAA- Try-out checklist- complete BOTH sides and sign-Player & parent
Physical-Must be completed by Physician and Parent- complete INSURANCE Section and CONSENT. Parent SIGNS.
Media Release-Parent Signature

With out the above paperwork and fee's paid your son will not be allowed to participate in Camp or have Any Equipment issued to them. If your son is planning on a Padded Camp at a University this summer, his fee's and paperwork MUST be turned in prior to issuing. Issuance dates will be Thursday June 16th, Friday June 17th. Wed. June 29th, 30th and July 1st. TIMES TBA.
